Over the past few years, Jason Wexler has made a name for himself as a performing pianist/keyboardist, music director, and producer. 


Jason has performed and recorded with artists like Stolar, Troye Sivan, Carly Rose Sonenclar, Stephen Kellogg, The Alternate Routes, Cara Salimando, Alice Tan Ridley, Party Rock, Mary C and the Stellars, Sarah Lake, Bri Arden, Charlene Kaye, Caroline Pennell, Lily Kershaw, Pete Francis (of Dispatch), Grace McLean, Mieka Pauley, Keyan Keihani, Curtis Peoples, Jeff Litman, Sarah Tracey, Madison South, The Nightmare River Band, Don Hahn, Ray Scro, and more. 


He performed in the house band on Katie Couric’s show, “Katie” on ABC, and has performed and recorded with singers that have been featured on American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The Voice, and the X Factor. 


Jason has played at almost every notable venue in NYC, including Rockwood Music Hall, Highline Ballroom, Webster Hall, The Gramercy Theater, Bowery Ballroom, Roseland Ballroom, Hammerstein Ballroom, Terminal 5, Joe’s Pub, Best Buy Theater, Irving Plaza and many more. He has performed on numerous national tours, festivals, and internationally in places like Mexico, Jamaica, Canada, and the UK. Jason has lent his performance and production skill to music that has been featured on national television as well as indie films and shorts.  The album, “The Race”, by Caroline Pennell, which Jason co-produced, reached the top 40 on the iTunes pop charts.

In 2019, he started a solo piano project, “The Chillest”, which has now grown to be a label entity that houses 5 artist projects in different instrumental genres, totalling over 25 million streams on Spotify and Apple Music.


His musical education includes studying under Stanley Cowell (Stan Getz, Max Roach), at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Music in Jazz Piano.
